1. A method of operating an insulin infusion device to regulate delivery of insulin to a body of a user, the method comprising:
obtaining, from a continuous glucose sensor, sensor glucose (SG) values for the user;
operating in a first mode of operation or a second mode of operation, wherein the mode of operation is dependent on one or more of: a sensor underread condition being met, a sensor overread condition being met, the SG values for the user, a minimum lower limit of insulin to be delivered (UMIN) time limit being exceeded, or a maximum upper limit of insulin to be delivered (UMAX) limit being exceeded; and
automatically operating the insulin infusion device to control delivery of insulin from the insulin infusion device to the body of the user, in accordance with the mode of operation.
