1. A method of treating a microbial infection of a foot of a subject, the method comprising:
combining a diluent, xylitol, poloxamers, and a clindamycin solution comprising isopropyl alcohol and propylene glycol to form a footbath solution; and
topically administering the footbath solution to the subject, wherein administering comprises contacting with the footbath solution a skin area of the foot of the subject that is infected or suspected to be infected.
