1. A prosthetic heart valve comprising:
a support structure having a plurality of struts movably coupled together such that the support structure can move incrementally between a radially compressed state and a radially expanded state, wherein the plurality of struts includes a plurality of commissure struts;
an actuator member coupled to the plurality of struts of the support structure and configured to incrementally move the support structure between the radially compressed state and the radially expanded state and to automatically lock the support structure in a particular state;
a plurality of leaflets coupled to the plurality of commissure struts of the support structure and configured to allow unidirectional blood flow through the prosthetic heart valve; and
a sealing material coupled to the support structure and comprising a base and a plurality of commissure extensions, wherein the base of the sealing material remains unattached from the support structure, and wherein the plurality of commissure extensions extends from the base and wraps around and is coupled to the plurality of commissure struts of the support structure.
