1. An input device for controlling a robotic surgical tool, the input device comprising:
four links coupled to a central longitudinal member, wherein proximal ends of each of the four links are positioned radially away from the central longitudinal member; and
a pair of clutch buttons coupled to an opposing pair of the four links.
