1. A method of performing video decoding, comprising:
receiving, in a case where an extension flag indicates that information for the multiple layers is provided, representation format number information indicating a number of representation formats for the multiple layers;
obtaining representation format information for each of the representation formats based on the representation format number information, wherein the representation format information includes at least one of width information and height information; and
performing the video decoding using the representation format information.
