1. A method to be performed by executing an application in an information processing apparatus having a Near Field Communication (NFC) interface and being capable of establishing communication with a printer by using an NFC method via the NFC interface, the method comprising:
in a case where first data is received by the information processing apparatus using the established communication, the first data satisfying a predetermined condition, searching for the printer identified by the first data by using another communication method that is different from the NFC method and performing communication with the printer using the another communication method; and
in a case where second data is received by the information processing apparatus using the established communication, the second data to be determined not to satisfy the predetermined condition, providing an error about the second data without searching for the printer by using the another communication method.
