A battery assembly comprising a battery module comprising a singly stacked array of batteries, each battery of the array of batteries further comprising a connection to a battery management board having an individual cell bypass/charge dump circuit that is activated when a cell reaches a full-charge state, and each battery of the array of batteries further comprising an AC-coupled connection to a common full-discharge indicator line.
