1. A data storage device, comprising:
a storage medium configured for a plurality of data tracks written in at least one continuous spiral pattern, wherein:
the plurality of data tracks comprises:
a first group of adjacent tracks having a first sector frequency; and
a second group of adjacent tracks having a second sector frequency; and
the first sector frequency is different than the second sector frequency;
a head actuated over a surface of the storage medium; and
a control circuitry configured to write, to the storage medium, data tracks having track lengths that are different than a single revolution of the storage medium, wherein the track lengths are comprised of data sectors along the at least one continuous spiral pattern.
