10. A method implemented by one or more processors, the method comprising:
receiving an input audio signal detected by a sensor of a client device;
parsing the input audio signal to identify a request and a trigger keyword corresponding to the request;
determining, based on the request, an action data structure configured for executing a type of action responsive to the request;
identifying a content item based on processing metadata of the content item and determining that subject matter, of the content item, corresponds to the trigger keyword;
generating an output signal for rendering the content item, the output signal modulated according to an amplitude modulation determined based on the type of action and the content item; and
transmitting data packets comprising the output signal to cause an audio driver component executed by the client device to drive a speaker of the client device to generate an acoustic wave corresponding to the output signal generated with the amplitude modulation.
