1. A method comprising:
receiving a sequence of data captured by at least one user device, wherein each data entry in the sequence of data is associated with one of a corresponding plurality of geographic locations and a time of capture;
determining a path between the plurality of geographic locations;
determining a confidence indicator representative of whether the determined path corresponds to a demarked path, wherein the confidence indicator is based on one or more characteristics of the sequence of data;
identifying the path as corresponding to a demarked route, based on the confidence indicator;
marking the sequence of data as a demarked route;
providing, for display, a plurality of indicia representing a set of the geographic locations associated with the data entries for the demarked route; and
automatically providing, based on the sequence of data using the plurality of indicia, guidance along the demarked route.
