1. A system comprising:
a sensor configured to collect data about one or more objects within an environment of a vehicle, wherein the sensor has been calibrated using a ground-truth calibration target; and
one or more computing devices configured to:
identify, based on the collected data, at least one candidate object from the one or more objects to be used as a proxy calibration target; and
provide data about the at least one candidate object for use by one or more vehicles within a fleet of vehicles.
