1. A leadless pacing device for delivering pacing pulses to a heart of a patient, the leadless pacing device comprising:
a power supply for providing a power supply voltage;
a housing at least partially supporting the power supply, the housing having a proximal end, a distal end, and a side extending between the proximal end and the distal end;
a first electrode disposed on the housing;
an anchor member configured to fix the housing to tissue of the patient's heart, the anchor member extending from the housing to a radial extent beyond the side of the housing, the anchor member comprising a second electrode;
a distal extension connected to the housing and extending distally of the distal end of the housing; and
a guide wire port in the side of the housing and a guidewire lumen extending distally from the guide wire port through the distal extension;
wherein the housing comprises:
a metallic body portion supporting the power supply within an interior of the metallic body portion; and
a polymeric header connected to a distal end of the metallic body portion;
wherein the metallic body portion extends from the proximal end of the housing to the polymeric header, and the polymeric header extends from the metallic body portion to the distal end of the housing;
wherein the guide wire port is located in the polymeric header distal of the metallic body portion and proximal of the anchor member.
