1. A method of generating electromagnetic fields, comprising the step of using the interaction between a laser source and a target, as a source for generating high-intensity electromagnetic fields, wherein said laser source is a high intensity and energy laser beam, and wherein in said target hit by the laser, a positive charge is generated, wherein said target has a structure comprising at least two discrete objects that are distinct and not connected one to each other and in which at least one of the two discrete objects is hit by a laser beam generated by said laser source and wherein said discrete object hit by a laser beam is not connected to ground, wherein at least one of the two discrete objects is a conductor, wherein the structure of the target is used to generate said electromagnetic fields, and wherein the structure of the target is used to obtain the acceleration or deceleration or deflection or focusing or selection of the moving charges that define a beam of charged particles, or even the whole of more than one of the preceding actions.
