a processing system including a processor; and

a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising:

obtaining a request for a communication service from a user equipment;

based on the obtaining of the request for the communication service from the user equipment, obtaining first data indicative of a plurality of factors, wherein the plurality of factors includes an indication of an amount of mobility of the user equipment;

based on the obtaining of the first data, analyzing the first data to determine that a first portion of the communication service should be provisioned to the user equipment utilizing a plurality of frequency bands, resulting in a first determination;

based on the first determination, selecting one of carrier aggregation or dual connectivity for providing the first portion of the communication service to the user equipment, resulting in a first selection; and

providing the first portion of the communication service to the user equipment in accordance with the first selection.
