14 Claims

1. A method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving, from a network, a conditional mobility configuration for candidate cells related to a conditional mobility, and a mobility command for a target cell,

wherein the conditional mobility configuration comprises execution conditions each of which needs to be fulfilled for an execution of the conditional mobility to a corresponding candidate cell;

executing a mobility to the target cell upon receiving the mobility command to the target cell,

wherein, during the execution of the mobility to the target cell:

i) the wireless device performs measurements on the candidate cells related to the conditional mobility; and

ii) an evaluation of the execution conditions based on the measurements on the candidate cells is stopped;

after the mobility to the target cell fails, selecting a cell among the candidate cells related to the conditional mobility; and

performing the conditional mobility to the selected cell based on a candidate cell configuration for the selected cell within the conditional mobility configuration.
