1. A method performed by a first electronic device, the method comprising:
receiving a microphone signal comprising sound captured by a microphone of a second electronic device during a wireless communication session with the first electronic device;
outputting the sound through a speaker of the first electronic device based on the received microphone signal at a sound output level;
determining that a distance between the first electronic device and the second electronic device is increasing; and
increasing the sound output level as the distance between the first electronic device and the second electronic device increases.
