1. A virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and/or mixed reality (MR) system in a physical environment comprising a plurality of loudspeakers, comprising:
a user-worn head mounted display (HMD), further comprising:
a microphone; and
a user tracking device configured to track an orientation and position of the user within the physical environment;
a VR/AR/MR processor configured to deliver a digital video signal to the head-mounted display, and a digital control signal and a digital audio signal to a receiver/preamplifier;
a VR/AR/MR user tracking processor configured to receive user tracking data from the HMD user tracking device and provide a digital user tracking data signal to the receiver/preamplifier;
the receiver/preamplifier configured to receive the digital user tracking data signal, the digital control signal, the digitized microphone signal, and the digital audio signal, and to provide a processed audio signal to an amplifier,
wherein the receiver/preamplifier is further configured to comprise:
a system memory;
a central receiver processor; and
an analog signal processor;
wherein the receiver/preamplifier further comprises an environment correction processor configured to characterize the environment according to tracked movements of a user in the environment; and
the amplifier configured to receive the processed audio signal and provide a plurality of amplified audio signals.
