1. A hearing aid dome configured to fit within a user's ear canal, the dome comprising:
an outer dome having a proximal end, a distal end, an outer surface, and an inner surface;
a core located radially inward from the inner surface of the outer dome and having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the distal end of the core is connected to the distal end of the outer dome and the proximal end of the core is spaced radially inward from the proximal end of the outer dome, wherein the proximal end of the core is configured to mechanically interface with an in-the-ear housing, and wherein the core comprises a central lumen extending between the proximal end of the core to the distal end of the core; and
a plurality of vents providing a fluid connection between the outer surface and the inner surface, wherein each of the plurality of vents comprise a groove extending along a length of the outer dome ending in a proximal aperture.
