1. A method, comprising:
in connection with a service request communicated by a device to an application server, receiving, by an authorization server, device identifier information from the device, wherein the device identifier information identifies the device;
in connection with an authentication request received from the device and, in response to the authentication request received from the device, communicating, by the authorization server comprising a processor, an encrypted authentication token to the device, wherein the encrypted authentication token comprises encrypted device identifier information that facilitates identifying the device;
receiving, by the authorization server, a token validation request, comprising the encrypted authentication token, from the application server, wherein the application server received the encrypted authentication token from the device; and
determining, by the authorization server, whether the device is validated based on analyzing the encrypted authentication token, a private decryption key and the device identifier information from the device.
