1. A method comprising:
generating, by a processor, a first email message that includes a link;
transmitting, by the processor, the first email message to an email address of a first individual;
receiving, by the processor, a second email message based on an activation of the link in the first email message, wherein the second email message includes an actionable parameter and a security token of the first email message, wherein the actionable parameter indicates that a selection of one of a plurality of individuals was made by the first individual;
determining, by the processor, that the security token is valid; and
performing, by the processor, an action associated with the actionable parameter in response to the second email message, the action including updating an information database to indicate the selection of the one of thea plurality of individuals.
