1. A computer-implemented method, comprising:
transmitting, by a mobile device and to a mobile wallet computer system, an indication that a user of the mobile device wishes to perform a mobile wallet transaction to transfer funds to a merchant;
providing, by the mobile device, a geolocation of the mobile device to the mobile wallet computer system;
receiving, by the mobile device, an identification of the merchant based on the geolocation of the mobile device;
receiving, by the mobile device, an amount of merchant rewards that are available for the user to use at the merchant based on the identification of the merchant, the amount of merchant rewards being available to the user from the merchant;
displaying, by the mobile device, the amount of merchant rewards that are available at the merchant;
receiving, by the mobile device, an indication that the user wishes to apply at least a portion of the available merchant rewards to the mobile wallet transaction while at a merchant point of sale associated with the merchant based on the identification of the merchant; and
transmitting, to a merchant computer system, the indication that the user wishes to apply the at least the portion of the available merchant rewards to the mobile wallet transaction while at the merchant point of sale, the indication being transmitted to the merchant computer system;
wherein the merchant computer system applies the at least the portion of the available merchant rewards to the mobile wallet transaction prior to submitting the mobile wallet transaction to a card network computer system, and wherein no physical rewards card is used to complete the mobile wallet transaction.
