14. A radio frequency identification transponder, comprising:
a radio frequency identification chip comprising circuitry configured for sending and receiving electromagnetic radiation at one or more frequencies in a frequency range between a lower frequency limit and an upper frequency limit; and
an antenna connected to the radio frequency identification chip, the antenna having a first resonance frequency being a harmonic of a fundamental frequency of the antenna and a second resonance frequency being a next larger harmonic of the fundamental frequency of the antenna, wherein the first resonance frequency is smaller than the lower frequency limit and the second resonance frequency is greater than the upper frequency limit;
wherein the lower frequency limit is 800 MHz and the upper frequency limit is 950 MHz, and wherein the first resonance frequency is a third harmonic of the fundamental frequency of the antenna and the second resonance frequency is a fourth harmonic of the fundamental frequency of the antenna.
