1. A method of generating a travel itinerary, the method comprising:
retrieving a plurality of user profiles corresponding to a respective plurality of users, wherein each user profile identifies a plurality of traits about each of the plurality of users;
identifying a first group of users based on identifying one or more shared traits common to the respective user profiles of the users in the first group;
retrieving locations of a plurality of points of interest;
selecting one or more recommended points of interest for the first group of users from the plurality of points of interest, wherein the one or more recommended points of interest are selected based on identifying an indicator of positivity associated with a recommended point of interest and corresponding to a user belonging to the first group of users; and
sending a travel itinerary comprising the locations of the one or more recommended points of interest to one or more user devices associated with one or more users in the first group of users.
