1. A method of classifying a received message comprising a text, to determine whether to assign one or more classification categories to the message, comprising:
evaluating the received message using two or more general evaluators, including at least a first general evaluator and a second general evaluator different from the first general evaluator, each of the first and second general evaluators being applicable for evaluating texts for multiple categories, wherein the first and second general evaluators are trained to focus on different contexts of a message;
whereby each of the two or more general evaluators analyses the received message to determine values of one or more properties of the received message, for each classification category that the general evaluator is evaluating, to determine an output representing a probability that the received message should be assigned with that classification category, wherein the output is dependent on the values of the one or more properties of the received message;
determining a classification output based on outputs of the first and second general evaluators, including applying weightings to the outputs of the at least first and second general evaluators and combining the weighted outputs of the at least first and second general evaluators.
