1. A method for preventing lithium plating of a second rechargeable battery, comprising:
receiving operating values of a first battery as time-series, wherein the operating values are associated with a first operation of the first battery, and wherein the operating values comprise:
a terminal voltage of the first battery,
a battery current of the first battery,
determining a simulated terminal voltage using a model of the first battery on the basis of the battery current,
calculating a difference between the simulated terminal voltage and the terminal voltage,
determining a lithium plating state of the first battery on the basis of the difference,
generating transmittable control data based on the lithium plating state of the first battery for preventing lithium plating of the second battery that has characteristics in common with the first battery,
transmitting the control data to the second battery via a communication connection, and
causing the second battery to apply the control data to control a second operation,
wherein the control data comprises one or more operating limits based on the difference to reduce or avoid a progress of the lithium plating during the second operation.
