1. An aircraft comprising:
a cryogenic H2 storage tank configured as a non-circular dorsal tank, the cryogenic H2 storage tank comprising a plurality of plate-shaped ribs within an interior of the cryogenic H2 storage tank to maintain an outer shape of the cryogenic H2 storage tank and minimize deformation of the cryogenic H2 storage tank,
wherein the cryogenic H2 storage tank is configured as a conformal fuel tank fitted to an outer contour of an aircraft fuselage,
wherein the cryogenic H2 storage tank has a lower side forming a lengthwise longitudinally-extending recess which receives a top of the fuselage therein.
