1. A vehicle assembly, comprising:
a door assembly configured to move between a closed position and an open position;
a latching assembly configured to selectively lock the door assembly in the closed position, wherein the latching assembly includes a T-bar movable between a first position and a second position, wherein the second position is transverse to the first position; and
an override retainer configured to deflect to release the latching assembly from the door assembly when a manual override force is applied to the door assembly,
wherein the override retainer includes a first retainer clip located adjacent to a first side of the latching assembly and a second retainer clip located adjacent to a second side of the latching assembly,
wherein the first retainer clip engages a first surface of the door assembly, and the second retainer clip engages a second, different surface of the door assembly.
