6 Claims

1. A method for manufacturing a connection body (1) for a flush-mounted installation body (2), comprising:

i. providing a casting mold;

ii. arranging at least one connection (4) for a fluid line in the casting mold, wherein the at least one connection (4) is at least partially made of metal;

iii. heating at least one metal reinforcement ring to obtain at least one prestressed metal reinforcement ring (8);

iv. arranging the at least one prestressed metal reinforcement ring (8) in the casting mold; and

v. at least partially encapsulating the at least one connection (4) with plastic to produce a base body (3) of the connection body (1).
