1. A textile sliding surface with a functional layer and a base layer, which are connected to one another by filament yarns, the functional layer being formed from pile loops, wherein the pile loops are formed by monofilaments having a thickness in the range 0.5-1.2 mm, and the height of the pile loops in the functional layer are in the range 0.5-14 mm, and wherein the functional layer has 400-2400 pile loops per dm2, and the yarns in the lower part of the pile loops are bound into the base layer by W-bonds.
