1. A legged robot, in particular a quadruped robot, comprising at least a first leg and a second leg adapted to walk the robot over a ground,
wherein the first leg comprises a first electrostatic discharge assembly comprising:
a first electrostatic discharge contact connected to a first electrostatic chargeable robot component,
a first electrostatic discharge member extending along the first leg, and
a first electrostatic discharge foot,
wherein the first electrostatic discharge assembly is adapted to electrostatically discharge the first robot component via the first electrostatic discharge contact to the first electrostatic discharge member to the first electrostatic discharge foot and to the ground,
wherein in the intended use of the legged robot, to walk over the ground, the first electrostatic discharge foot of the first leg touches the ground at least once within each walking cycle, to electrostatically discharge the first robot component.
