1. An apparatus, comprising:
(a) an end effector comprising:
(i) a first jaw,
(ii) a second jaw configured to cooperate with the first jaw to clamp and staple tissue with a plurality of staples, and
(iii) a firing driver actuatable through a firing stroke to eject the staples into the clamped tissue;
(b) a motor operable to actuate the firing driver through the firing stroke; and
(c) a manual actuator, wherein the manual actuator is selectively movable by a user to mechanically decouple the motor from the firing driver and manually actuate the firing driver.
