1. A monitoring arrangement comprising:
a hygiene device comprising
a material body configured to cover a region in an intended positioned state, said material body comprising one single ply or multiple plies of material, and
at least one sensor configured to measure a parameter, said parameter being a degree of contamination by microorganisms and/or viruses, said sensor being integrated in at least one transmitter module disposed on or in the material of the material body, said transmitter module being configured for contactless transmission of sensor data derived from the measured parameter of the at least one sensor without having its own electrical energy source;
a receiver module configured to acquire the transmitted sensor data associated with the transmitter module of the hygiene device, said transmitter module and said receiver module jointly forming an interacting transmitter-receiver system having a range of at least 5 m; and
an evaluation unit configured to acquire and/or read out and then evaluate and/or further process the sensor data transmitted by the transmitter module by means of the receiver module;
wherein the hygiene device has at least one pH and/or moisture indicator on or in the material of the material body, and
wherein the sensor and/or the indicator is covered by a buffer arrangement, which is configured to absorb moisture and deliver it with a time delay to the sensor and/or indicator.
