1. A method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
transmitting, to a network, information related to a beam switching timing of the terminal;
receiving, from the network, downlink control information (DCI) including information for a channel state information (CSI) triggering state associated with a CSI report configuration and a CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource configuration; and
receiving, from the network, a CSI-RS;
applying a first quasi co-location (QCL) assumption based on a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state for the CSI-RS resource, based on a scheduling offset between a last symbol of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) carrying the DCI and a first symbol of the CSI-RS resource being equal to or larger than a threshold, or
applying a second QCL assumption based on another downlink signal, based on i) the scheduling offset being smaller than the threshold, and ii) the another downlink signal being indicated by the TCI state, or
applying a third QCL assumption based on a control resource set (CORESET), based on i) the scheduling offset being smaller than the threshold, and ii) the another downlink signal not being indicated by a TCI state, or there being no another downlink signal,
wherein the threshold is 48 symbols based on a subcarrier spacing configured for the terminal being equal to or lower than a predetermined subcarrier spacing, and
wherein the threshold is a candidate threshold having a value higher than 48 symbols based on the subcarrier spacing configured for the terminal being higher than the predetermined subcarrier spacing.
