1. A heterocycle-containing amino acid compound represented by a general formula (1):

wherein R1 and R2 are identical with or different from each other, and each represent a hydrogen atom or a carboxy-protecting group;
R3 represents a carboxyl group or a hydroxyl group; and
n is 1 or 2,
or a salt thereof.
