1. A method for wireless communications, the method comprising:
transmitting, by user equipment (UE) to a base station, frequency hopping (FH) assist information for use by the base station to determine a frequency offset value for configuring FH for uplink communications of the UE; and
performing, by the UE, the uplink communications using the FH configured by the base station based on the FH assist information.
