1. A method performed by a session management function (SMF) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
triggering to update network slice availability;
transmitting, to a network slice admission control function (NSACF), a first message for network slice availability update request including a user equipment (UE) identifier (ID) and a protocol data unit (PDU) session ID; and
receiving, from the NSACF, a second message for network slice availability update response including a result indication,
wherein the UE ID and the PDU session ID are related to a number of PDU sessions per network slice.
