1. A method for producing videos of a scenery comprising the steps of:
providing a digital video camera operating at a recording frame rate (RFR) configured to capture images of said scenery;
selecting a standard frame rate (SFR) for finalized video, a high display frame rate (HDFR) comprising nd-HDFR slots, each having a duration τi with:

OG Complex Work Unit Math
wherein nd is an integer larger than 1 (nd>1);
arranging one or more active pixel-based displays within, and optionally adjacent to said scenery, said one or more active displays being configured to show image data at a high display frame rate (HDFR);
presenting at least a first set of image data and a second set of image data on said active display in a time-sliced multiplexed manner, wherein at least said second set of image data comprises chromakey image data and/or tracking pattern image data, said tracking pattern image data being used for determining the exact location and orientation/attitude of said digital video camera with respect to said active pixel-based displays, said first and second sets of image data presented on said active display consisting of first and second image frames having a duration of Ti and are presented at least at said standard frame rate (SFR);
capturing images of said scenery with said digital camera at said recording frame rate (RFR), with said capturing of images of said digital camera being synchronized with the presentation of either said first set of image data and/or said second set of i image data on said active display; and
creating a video at said standard frame rate (SFR) from said images captured by said digital camera.
