1. A circuit comprising:
at least one partial hash engine configured to (i) implement a hash function, partially, to compute a partial hash digest of a final hash digest and (ii) generate a notification based on the partial hash digest computed; and
a complete hash engine configured to implement the hash function, completely, and in response to the notification generated, compute, in its entirety, the final hash digest, wherein a partial hash engine of the at least one partial hash engine has a reduced gate count relative to a respective gate count of the complete hash engine.
