1. An apparatus comprising:
a voltage regulator to provide power to an output supply rail; and
a current sensor coupled to the voltage regulator, wherein the current sensor includes a Kalman filter with a first logic to estimate equivalent resistance through the output supply rail, and with a second logic to track a transient behavior on the output supply rail, wherein a portion of the Kalman filter is bypassed based on the second logic tracking the transient behavior.
