1. A method for charging an electrochemical device through a cyclical charging and discharging process, comprising:
in a first cycle stage of the cyclical charging and discharging process, a charging stage of the first cycle stage having a first cut-off current; and
in a second cycle stage of the cyclical charging and discharging process, a charging stage of the second cycle stage having a second cut-off current, wherein the second cut-off current is greater than the first cut-off current, wherein the cyclical charging and discharging process comprises n charging and discharging cycle stages in sequence, the n cycle stages are respectively defined as ith cycle stages, i=1, 2, . . . , n, n is a positive integer greater than 1, a previous cycle stage of the ith cycle stage is defined as a (i−1)th cycle stage, the charging stage of the ith cycle stage has an ith cut-off current, the charging stage of the (i−1)th cycle stage has a (i−1)th cut-off current, and the ith cut-off current is greater than the (i−1)th cut-off current,
wherein the ith cycle stage further comprises (i) a constant-current charging stage during which the electrochemical device is charged to an ith cut-off voltage by an ith current associated with the constant-current charging stage, (ii) a constant-voltage charging stage during which the electrochemical device is charged to the ith cut-off current by an ith voltage associated with the constant-voltage charging stage, and (iii) a discharging stage during which the electrochemical device is discharged to a preset discharging cut-off voltage by a preset discharging current associated with the discharging stage.
