1. A removable bridge block system for a guitar, comprising:
a guitar, said guitar having a body portion with a front side and a rear side, said body portion of said guitar having a first opening traversing an entire length of the body of the guitar from the front side to the rear side and bordering a first compartment, said first compartment having an inner wall surface;
a bridge block having an outer wall surface, said bridge block is partially retained within said first compartment of said body portion of said guitar, at least a portion of the bridge block is exposed at both the front side and the rear side of the body portion of the guitar, said bridge block has an external side wall having a recess; and,
a locking mechanism, said locking mechanism having a plate, said plate having a substantially curved outer perimeter edge, said plate having a flat outer perimeter edge, said plate is retained within a second compartment located at the rear side of said body of said guitar, the plate is perpendicular to the side wall of the bridge block, a second opening borders said second compartment, said plate to rotate within said second compartment of said body of said guitar to orient said substantially curved edge of said plate to be retained within said recess of said bridge block, whereby, said locking mechanism is in a locked orientation, said plate is configured to rotate within said second compartment of said body of said guitar to orient said flat edge of said plate to be substantially parallel to said recess of said bridge block, whereby, said locking mechanism is in an unlocked orientation.
