1. A display device comprising:
an interface connected to a plurality of cables;
an electrical over stress (EOS) grounding unit configured to ground EOS flowing in through the cables;
a controller configured to control the EOS grounding unit; and
an EOS detector configured to detect the EOS flowing in through the cables and output an EOS detection signal to the controller,
wherein the controller is further configured to control the EOS grounding unit so that, when a cable in an inactive mode exists in the plurality of cables, at least one connection pin corresponding to the cable in the inactive mode is grounded and to control the EOS grounding unit so that, when the cable in the inactive mode is changed to an active mode, the at least one connection pin is ungrounded, and
wherein the EOS detector comprises:
a first switch configured to switch when a voltage input from a specific connection pin of the cable is equal to or greater than a reference voltage; and
a second switch configured to output the EOS detection signal to the controller in response to a switching signal of the first switch.
