1. A vehicle detection system comprising:
a receiver arranged to receive data transmissions from a vehicle;
a camera arranged to capture an image of said vehicle; and
a processing subsystem arranged to implement a trained model for detecting and/or classifying vehicles in an image;
wherein the vehicle detection system is arranged to use information resulting from said data transmissions from the vehicle together with said captured images of the vehicle to provide data for improving the trained model, the vehicle detection system being further arranged to use the trained model to detect and/or classify the vehicle in the image if no data transmission is received.
