1. A fire sensing system, comprising:
at least one point heat detector, wherein the at least one point heat detector includes:
a detector housing;
a circuit board body having a number of corners;
a surface mounted thermistor mounted on at least one corner; and
wherein the detector housing includes at least one aperture in a side surface of the detector housing allowing the at least one corner to protrude though the aperture.
