1. A circuit comprising:
a radiofrequency antenna configured to harvest energy from a first signal;
a signal interface coupled to the radiofrequency antenna, the signal interface configured to generate a second signal powered only by the harvested energy from the first signal, wherein the second signal comprises a voltage corresponding to the harvested energy of the first signal;
a controller coupled to the signal interface, wherein the controller is configured to transition from an off-state to an active state when the voltage of the second signal exceed a predetermined threshold, and the controller is configured to perform a first function and a second function when the controller receives the second signal, and wherein operation of the first function is distinct from operation of the second function.
