1. A SMART sensor comprising:
a) a sensor;
b) an artificial intelligence (AI) core physically coupled directly to the sensor, the AI core having been trained on a library of sensor inputs that are correlated with specific diagnoses of problems; and
c) a communication module coupled to the AI core for receiving an output from the AI core providing a diagnosis of a specific problem regarding an environment, the SMART sensor residing in the environment and the AI core communicating the agnosis to at least one external device wirelessly coupled to the communication module.
