1. A computing system for mapping a structure in a building, the system comprising:
one or more processors; and
one or more memories storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing system to perform a process comprising:
receiving, from a scanner device, a message comprising a foundation profile of at least one floor in at least one room in a building and a location of the building,
wherein the foundation profile includes a map of one or more physical defects in the area underneath the at least one floor and one or more measurements that describe the one or more physical characteristics;
determining, based on the location of the building, an identifier that uniquely identifies the building; and
storing the foundation profile for the at least one floor, in a database, in association with the identifier.
