1. A method, comprising:
obtaining, by a processing system, two sets of signal associated with a same user input on a sensing region of an input device, wherein the two sets of signals comprise a first set of signals that are piezoelectric signals obtained from a piezoelectric device and a second set of signals that are corrective signals obtained from a corrective device that is separate from the piezoelectric device;
determining, by the processing system and based on the piezoelectric signals and the corrective signals, one or more events to be performed in response to the user input; and
performing, by the processing system, the one or more events.
