1. An inspection apparatus comprising:
an imaging device; and
a processing device,
wherein the imaging device comprises
a light source,
a polarized light generator configured to generate polarized light from light emitted from the light source, and
a polarization camera configured to image the polarized light generated by the polarized light generator and transmitted through a molding product which is disposed between the polarized light generator and the polarization camera,
the processing device comprises one or more processors and a memory storing instructions thereon, the instructions when executed by the one or more processors causing the one or more processors to
receive images captured by the polarization camera,
store, in the memory, a reference image obtained by simulation and representing the molding product determined to be normal, and
determine a state of the molding product by calculating a degree of similarity between the received images and the reference image stored in the memory.
