1. A method for monitoring a transmission driven by an electric motor with a motor control, comprising:
monitoring load changes with zero crossing of motor torque in the transmission by measuring and evaluating at least one operating parameter of the electric motor and/or of a controller of the electric motor, wherein a number of load cycles exceeding a predetermined number of load cycles is detected as a critical operating state.
